The game is based on composuring according to formation. The only thing that the gamer shall do to find the right formation to overcome the oppoent. There is that absolute win/loose position at any time of a match. To defend is not so important if the game sets your team dominant. You’ll win somehow. And even opponent will deliver the ball directly to your feet. EA discarded legacy defending and bring composuring to bring skill moves front. Dont try to defend, try find right formation in the match to take the game to your side 🤗

@Afshin Elango May-be you have a mechanical issue with your L1 gamepad button? For switching (using my X-box LB button) I don't have any issues, it works perfect for me. But WAD in all situations having no ball possesion it can only be used to switch instantly fast to your team player being at that moment the closest to the ball. In your controller pre-setting menu you have (very usefull for planning a reaction for a tactical situation you expect to be happen a few seconds later) for switching with the R stick two reference options available. Option 1 is switching to another team member relative to were your manual controlled player is at the moment or option 2 using the spot were the ball is at that moment as reference point. My personal choice is that I use my current manual controlled player as reference point.

You should do the tutorial on how to stop this retarded throug pass. Almost everyone I passing the ball forward not even seeing who is up front. Full power through ball. This requires no skill to do but stoping this is sometimes impossible. Even with top full backs.

I play pro evo and when I play FIFA 21 it some like I can't defend even though I know what my mate is trying to do. On PES you have complete control you can press pressure the ball and make it hard for your opponent to score and build up attacks. FIFA 21 is shit PE21 Amazing

I know what u mean. The game is infuriating, I just destroyed one controller out of anger. I don't know if they actually test this games before releasing cause every play in legendary mode do some insane impossible dribbling and just get into your defence with little effort. Especially when they are losing and running out of time. FIFA2021 is the worse soccer I have played so far.
