I second this! Thank you! The January and February color stories wouldn't have added anything to my collection, but I picked up March because it's my birthstone and I really can't have too many blues. April is catching my eye. I like having these shades all together, but I'm sure I have these shades a few times over.

@@AllTheHappySquirrels Hi Happy Squirrels, I saw your posts and just wanted to let you know if you are on the fence about this palette, go for it! I bought it on the 1st and absolutely love it! I love every color and will even play with the glitter from time to time. The quality is amazingly great, well pigmented rich colors that apply and blend really well! The large diamond color is a great smooth shimmer that really pops. It looks great foiled or straight on the eye. I use that color with numerous other palettes and love the looks I am getting. I recognize that makeup is frivolous in the grand scheme of things, but it's such a creative outlet for me. I love spending the time just playing with colors and practicing techniques. It's like meditation for my squirrel brain. Im actually packing tonight to go backpacking and I'm kinda sad I'll have to wait until I get back to play with the new stuff. But I've missed my tent time during this whole panorama, and I needs the outside time with my friends. I hope your safe and the weather is treating you well!

I completely feel like they could've added color to this. Some duo chromes in there that represents the reflects you find in diamonds; yellow, green, blue, purple some orangey, some pink

I don't think they could make a pallet this cheap and have duochromes because the pigments for those shades are really expensive

The budget of a $9 palette means they might have been more limited. Maybe future palettes will have some of those other colours, I think we have Pearl for June so fingers crossed.

@@stickshiftsteph9968 I think they could figure out a way to do duo chromes though (or at least one) multi chrome I agree it’s out of budget. Brands like colourpop have had duo chromes in their singles (I even heard the online brand coastal scents has subtler duo chromes for $1 a shadow! ) maybe it’d be an investment but people like shifty shades it would be worth it maybe

I’m an April baby, and I was so excited to get this palette before it was revealed what it actually looks like. So disappointed, there are so many things they can do with the diamond theme! Diamonds reflect so many colors, and there are diamonds of every color!!!

Just when I thought that this palette would put me in a coma, Angie plays with it & bam! Well that’s actually quite gorgeous! I do feel that pink is the same /similar to the pink on the Avocado palette, the light brick colored one I feel has a similar shade also in the avocado palette.

YES, there are brown diamonds! They are usually called cognac colored diamonds and the color they used is a spot on representation for it. I purchased this palette on April 1st and LOVE it but I am far more of a neutral color shadow wearer than you are. I was pleasantly surprised by all the looks I can get with just this palette. I agree with you, BH Cosmetics is on a roll! I love this series! Thanks so much for all your hard work bringing us great videos!

I feel like mixing that white silver with light concealer, laying that down from lash to brow, and simply adding pink in the crease and doing a baby wing with the black shadow. Might do that; I think I still have a silver in an old Cargo palette..must try

I would've changed one of the shadows for a transparent based multichrome with a minimum of 3 color shifts. I feel like that would've represented a diamond the most.

Fair review.🙂 Not every palette in all 12 months are going to be a hit for everyone (duh)! I personally am intrigued by the colour story, and think the pink and brown are pleasant twists to what might have simply been a monochromatic pallette. So to each their own!

I committed to the year of these palettes too. I just got my Diamond palette and it's actually so my vibes. I like this and the Amethyst best so far. I did a lot of silver sparkle on my lids with, of course, the glittery black in the outer corner. I do think that yes, there are diamonds of many colors, including chocolate, but they aren't all the April birthstone.

I do, but I'm still tempted to collect all 12. She was right that this would travel well, and when things are normal I go to conventions twice a year and it would travel well. I mean, they're within driving distance so I can take huge luggage if I want, so I still don't need it... this is the first time I have the urge to collect.

Even though I don’t like pressed glitter either it would have made a lot of sense to make the April/diamond palette all pressed glitters in all diamond colors! That way it would be a good companion to all other pallets and then they would have had to put a pressed glitter in any other months pallets. 💜💜🤡

I actually like this palette. It goes from light to dark and has both matte and shimmers. This would make a nice travel palette. I kind of like that this color story was included since having some neutrals is nice, especially if you are collecting all of them and plan to mix and match.

I actually think this one was MUCH better than the Aquamarine one. That one was horrible because the shades would not last. The shimmer had to keep being re-applied but the shimmers in the Diamond player were very pretty and lasted. I LOVE pressed glitters. Ironically, I am uploading my review on this palette as I watch yours 😊
