Boiled rice is definitely better than raw rice because during parboiling water soluble vitamins enter the grain. Rice is definitely better than wheat because Gluten in wheat is the cause of many serious intestinal diseases. Rice eating people rarely suffer from such diseases. Do not go by the advice of doctors, see for yourself the food habits of rural people and eat accordingly.

This is the first time I am going through your channel. Liked it and subscribed it. You have explained very nicely. I don’t know why you are speaking so hurriedly, due to that many people can’t remember all the important things. I am now running 79 years of age and still I do treadmill at my residence. Previously I was walking everyday early morning and was covering six to seven km per day. Now due to too much traffic, I avoid walking on street. My walking partner was Dr.Tonpe and his wife. Other than that I engage myself in gardening and climb stairs upto three stories building two to three times daily. Myself and my wife complete our dinner around 8:00 pm and keep gaps of minimum 12 hours for next day breakfast. My BMI is 23. I don’t have diabetes. My fasting blood sugar is 84, which has been tasted on last month. We take fish and chicken to maintain protein in our diet and take less rice in lunch and two to three pieces of whole grain flour roti in dinner. Though rice and wheat contains carbohydrates, but rice converts to fructose and glucose very quickly in our body, whereas wheat flour takes time to convert into fructose and so our body insulin never exhaust fully. Rice is gluten free whereas wheat flour contains gluten. Those who are gluten intolerant must take rice in limited quantities in their principal meals. In our student life we were taking rice only.
