Sri Ramanujacharya along with Buddha are two of my favourite philosophers/teachers. I have a totally different take on Sri Ramanujacharya after analyzing his life events, he wanted to break the orthodoxy, he couldn't have taken them directly, so he employed innovative methods like employing people belonging to supposed lower classes in the temples as workers in various forms. This was an innovative and quite daring method during those times of strict orthodoxy and bigotry. He was far ahead in his spiritual pursuit and divine in his outlook that he cared zilch for orthodox methods which resulted in discrimination. Sri Ramanujacharya is a hero of mine, one who had profound and deep devotion towards God but also had great compassion for people. His humanity is a lesson and stands along side Buddha as a parallel on how to lead a moral and compassionate life.

This is as ironical as having the Shivaji, ambedakar and gandhi’s photos in the same line and actually more Ramanujacharya wasn’t a reformer and neither the starter of visishta advaita He had Upaveetenam (Poonal), urdhva pundram (tiruman), adorns a Shikha and tridandam he was the best and the follower of Sanatana dharma to the depth He was the most orthodox person to be noted in Sri Vaishnava sampradayam He embraced Sanatana dharma and his purvacharyas words and instead you are calling the practice he embraced bigotry Buddha on the other hand was a na aastika and said there’s no god while Ramanujacharya was an “idol” worshipper and being honest against devata aaradhanam Moreover you take doesn’t matter as the facts are to be taken and not someone’s opinion

Like Ramanuja did wonderful service to Sanatana Dharmam, Sree Narayana Guru also could do in the 20th century..... by the universal acceptance of spirituality in religions and highlighting their ultimate destination being the absolute one . We request Dushyanth ji, to deliver an Upanyas on Maha Guru Sree Narayana, especially on his krithis and his works related to devinity...... in the background of Sanatana Dharmam.

Real Shri sampradayam is coming bhagvati shri devi(Sita Devi) and 22nd Acharya is Bhagvan Ramanandacharya Ji who is Lord Rāmachandra Himself. He gave shelter to everyone irrespective of caste, religion.

I love your narration, mate. But we are taken a mythology to such a serious level is astounding. We evolved from beasts and wise ones devised faiths in society. Complied stories from many periods into a mythology & today we stand and fight over it.

I have a question that keeps pestering me for long. No reasons can justify an act of disfiguring a woman (even she might be asura) by lakshmananand rama being a mere spectator. Rama and lakshman with their eternal power could have tied or threw away soorpanagai but disfuring is unacceptable.
@krishnaswami3462 жыл бұрын
The reason why you say so is because you are used to the Gandhian way of looking at hinduism. Every Hindu diety has the fiercest of weapons and they are not decoration pieces. To protect dharma and righteousness they have always been used. Sikh guru whom you might follow also have used weapons to protect the land, traditions and culture.

Sorry sir, bhagvad ramanuja took the vishishtadvaitam from the Rishi bodhayana who is the acharya of Shri sampradayam. Ramanuja sampradayam is not the real Shri sampradayam which is talked of in puranas . It can be called as Nara Sampradayam . As the Rishi or drashta of ashtakshara mantra is Nara Rishi . Therefore this sampradayam is preached through Nara Rishi . Ramanuja sampradayam is a Neo sampradayam and not an eternal sampradayam.
