There is a story related to the composition of this Hymn. It is said that Shri Adi Shankaracharya, accompanied by his disciples, was walking along a street in Varanasi one day when he came across an old aged scholar reciting the rules of Sanskrit grammar of Panini repeatedly on the street. Taking pity on him, Adi Shankara went up to the scholar and advised him not to waste his time on grammar at his age but to turn his mind to God in worship and adoration, which would only save him from this vicious cycle of life and death. The hymn "Bhaja Govindam" is said to have been composed on this occasion.

Absolutely sensational. I first heard it doing Isha Kriya. I was blow away. Sadhguru's voice is truly divine. No matter the type of day I'm having this song makes it bright and blissful. YOGARATO VAA BHOGARATO VAA SANGARATO VAA SANGAVIHEENAH YASYA BRAHMANI RAMATE CHITHAM NANDATI NANDATI NANDATYEVA Whether one is immersed in yoga or is revelling in bhoga (i.e, outward enjoyment), whether he is enjoying himself in social company or has retired into solitude, true happiness certainly cannot be his; but who alone is revelling inwardly in Brahman, (wherever he be), he alone will be truly happy and will verily enjoy.

@waah kya Baat hai Bhaj Govindam Bhaj Govindam Govindam Bhaj Mudhamate.. means workship Krsna Worship Krsna Worship Krsna Only You.. Fool... ! Now,, You also better knows that is he Following Any of this...? Till now he haven't read Bhagavat Gita also...! I'm literally feeling Pity on him.. 🙏 Hare Krsna 🙏

@KcClips4 жыл бұрын
@@emmtea108 what LOL.. Yes Indeed they are Diff. "Krsna" means- Supreme Personality of Godhead (reference Brahma samhita 5.1) "Shiva" means - jst like Milk transforms into Yoghurt ,Similarly Krsna For the Work of destruction transforms into Shambhu/shiva (reference Brahma samhita 5.45) Brahman:- Brahman is One of the Aspect/feature of God .. This is a Sanskrit verse from the text "Vivekachudamani" attributed to Adi Shankaracharya. Here is a rough translation: Enjoyments and pleasures of yoga or worldly pleasures, Association with others or solitude, One whose mind delights in the Absolute Brahman, Rejoices, and rejoices alone. Association with the wise leads to non-attachment, Non-attachment leads to freedom from delusion, Freedom from delusion leads to steadfastness, Steadfastness leads to liberation while alive. Again and again, birth and death, Again and again, lying in the mother's womb, In this world, full of difficulties, Save me, O Lord, with your mercy. Worship Govinda, worship Govinda, Worship Govinda, O fool!
