These guys are the real musicians. Not electronic mixes or auto tunes and anything. All pure talent. Such a raw and powerful voice he had! And all the lyrics written had a really deep meaning. I wouldn't be surprised to know if the majority of the lyrics were written by Rahul Rai himself. You can get the distinct love and pain vibe from the words, and the genuine expressions he had while singing it! I really hope he is resting in peace! Tribal Rain, cheers for these beautiful pieces!

Rahul had come with his band Dream Diabolic back in 2010 to Shimla to headline a gig. It wasn't a large scale event. Just a bar gig organised by some local youth. He had something about him that set him apart from everyone else that day in that room filled with people. I discovered Tribal Rain only a few days back and got to know about his passing away. Listening to this song reminds me of that winter day in Shimla. Pure nostalgia! I can't emphasize enough on the talent that this guy is. He'll live on with the music he gave us.
