From what I have seen, this is the nakshatra very much related to cleansing and water: Apabharani Shakti is the power to “Take things away and move on / power to cleanse and remove impurities”. People with planets here literally clean stuff and use water. A friend of mine has her Moon here, she takes a shower many times a day to "remove the stress" (that is her words). She used to work as a delivery nurse, but she switched to working as a masseuse and sometimes she does many massages per day and takes a shower after each massage. One big Indian Guru has his Ketu here and he said that in periods of intense sadhana, yogis take 5 or more showers a day. I can relate to this as well, my Venus is in Bharani. Water cleans not only the skin, but the impressions we collect during the day as well. In my free time, I voluntarily clean beaches and rivers (I collect and remove the trash people throw around). In combination with Mula, Bharani is also associated with the cleansing of elements in the body, a yogic process known as Bhuta Shuddhi. I am not sure if this happens without Mula connection. It can also be related to fasting or removing impurities from the body by drinking water and fruit juices in a certain way. On a deeper level, being associated with the Pitris, Bharani has to do with removing the genetic/karmic imprints from ourselves and moving on as free and fresh beings. Bharani can definitely give blessings from fierce forms of female deities, but I won't share those stories publicly because I don't want people to think I am nuts lol. I am really not, it is just that my experiences are not for people ruled by their logic. Maybe that is why Bharani is secretive, we don't want to be labeled crazy lol.

Sir.. I have Ketu in bharani in 2nd house and Saturn in 12th house...they both are aspecting 6th house...I was cursed by a lady in 2005 or 2006.. she had sinus related problem and I laughed..she saw me laughing and said.."when you will have it then you will know"...since then till today..I have sinus problem...I came to know that when Ketu and Saturn are conjuncted in 4th house it can give cold related issues...also I came to know that this conjunction is like " Curse from a departed Soul". Any remedy to overcome this type of curses would be helpful.
