Important: You also have to attach a Student Authorisation Letter which is available on the APS website. It just has basic info and signature which you need to fill out and attach along with all your other documents. It is mentioned in the checklist anyways but I forgot to add that in the video.

It was a really helpful video and I have recieved my APS. One important thing which he missed and for anyone wondering, you do not need to send original documents, but colored photocopies of the documents (a good quality print is recommended). Also, you can attach digilocker printed documents for a smoother process (as I have sent and got verified within a period of 20 days). I personally did not gave any professor's email but it is advisable to propose one for verification of documents, in case you do not have digilocker versions.

Received APS Certificate on 30/08/2024. Timeline 04 August 2024 - Submitted online application 05 August 2024 - Courier the document via speed post 07 August 2024 - Reached the APS Office 28 August 2024 - Received mail from APS, asking me to send digilocker fetched documents. I send it on the same date in the respected mail 30August 2024 - Got Aps Certificate To Be Noted - I had changed my name and my name as per passport and academic dont match. I have provided Gazette Notification and mention it in the cover letter.

I got my APS certificate in just 26 days I applied on 16th May 2024 and my documents were received by the APS office on 21st May 2024. I got a verification call on 12th June 2024 around 10.30 am. Next day on 13th June, I received my certificate at 10.35 am but the name was wrong , so I immediately forwarded the same mail to APS and explained my query in it. 2 minutes after sending the mail, I got their reply saying that they will check it and send the certificate tomorrow. Next day on 14th June 2024 at 10.30 am they sent my new certificate with the correct name.

You do not have to send any original documents to aps. It is specifically mentioned in the faq's. You just need to send them coloured photocopies of originals & make sure you take photocopies of both sides.
