Long Answer : Actually that depends on what ply wool and what size hook you use. When I worked, I found for each green circle needs 7 chains in the middle and one extra at both the ends of the toranpatti. I also found that four green circles measure roughly six inches. I made 200 chains and with that I could exactly made 25 green circles. The whole length was around 39-40 inches. Short Answer : You will need roughly 200 chains to make 1 meter of toran. Try it.😃😁🙏
