Earlier for betterment of womens implementing such laws can be helpful but nowdays according to the current sitauion some womens use this as a tool or weapon just to take revenge or to earn money. Gender diversity/ quity means they will be hired just for sale of having women in an organisation. This used by women who are already empowered enough to apply for admission as they are graduate/ parents are also supportive. IIT/IIM me Meritorious men are pulled down because women are given extra marks and seats are also reserved. Pheminist have also protested against gender neutral laws..
