Adding cherry liqueur in India would make it very expensive, also cherries are not native to India. Thats why difference in flavor. Also, in India local bakeries use whipped cream not dairy cream to increase shelf life in tropical climates... Three cheers to black forest cake... One of my favorite as baker... ❤

Cherries are grown in India, primarily in the northern regions of the country i.e at J and K, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. These cakes have to be refrigerated...so the citing tropical climate is the reason for the substandard quality is not justified.

I found out today, the other girl is younger sister of actress Mrunmayi from katyaar kaaljaat ghusli....they look so similar, almost twins. 😅 I was thinking I had seen her before and later searched on Wikipedia and found out. BTW similar cake is sold in a Dutch bakery in Texas atleast looked 💯 also with alcohol.

I always luv your content on all channels and I am subscriber on all channels and insta as well..but today's I felt bit exaggerated as it's for sure when you are in Germany and if you compare the OG black forest cake with indian version its always be apart so it was wrong thing to do like we have our south indian malwani and Kashmir food will you get it in any other part of world,,,can switzerland chocolate be compared with indian chocolate .no..so that's how it is...the tasting and showing germany was good but comparison was not required...overall... झिल्यात भारी content

Sorry to say, but looks like a bit of overacting while eating the cake. Every region is known for their food and cake is not for India. Frankly other EU country guys don’t drool over Black Forest cake or for that matter other food. Did not want to write but in one of the last videos in Oct fest saw similar reactions and hence thought of writing. Every country in EU has their speciality and frankly no one cares much about others speciality.

This comment makes no sense. There was never a comparison with Indian food. I've had the same reaction when eating the original version of a certain delicacy that is 100x better than the copy made in other countries. You can even imagine a German trying an Indian dish in India and comparing that with what they get in Germany.

Of course they will be slightly biased towards food that's closer to them, just like we Indians are. I am also amazed by European foods of which we only get cheap copies in India: Black forest cake, paella, pizza, beers, wines, pies, etc. etc. I still think Indian food is the best food, but that doesn't stop me from enjoying other cultures.
