Masala tea is not really tea it is more like kadhi. The real flavour of tea is when you use only tea leaves - add boiling water to it. Let it seep and then enjoy with a dash of milk, if at all. Sugar is not required at all. This recipe given is where we ignore the inherent flavour of tea and impart to it typical flavours of spices which make it into a spiced hot drink - it can hardly be called tea. Surprisingly in a lot of places in India - especially in Gujrath and Maharashtra this is actually preferred. What's more, I have also seen people adding elichi and cinnamon to coffee completely spoiling it's original flavour 😢 God bless all! 🙏

अकेले दूध में भी चाय बनती है। हमारे यहाँ उसे स्पेशल या पेशल चाय कहते हैं। मेरे लिए वो चाय नहीं होती बल्कि वो चाय फ़्लेवर वाला दूध होता है। अपनी-अपनी पसंद है । जिसे जो अच्छा लगता है वो वैसे ही चाय / काॅफ़ी बनाता है। कुछ लोग सिर्फ़ ब्रू की हुई चाय ही पीते हैं।

As u r expert in cooking so no offense.. but as i m from assam so we know the exact process of preparing black tea and milk tea.. strong leaves ctc BOP is used for milk tea. And only tonned and cow milk is best suited ..Agar chai se patti ka smell na aaye thats not chai. And adrak and all cant be put in milk tea as it kills the aroma of tea leaves. Yes other parts of india drinks in that way but they even dont have the actual assam tea..they drink the blended tea. So 2 cup banane ke liye u need 1 cup milk and 1&1/2 cup water.jab ye halka garam ho jaye u can put the tea leave as per ur requirement but i suggest 2 spoon until the colour and aroma comes out.
