Headed home for thanksgiving...
GSP to BWI, plus a little driving afterward.
Settings: CWA Metering, picture every 2 seconds, converted to 30fps and reduced from original resolution to 1080p using GoPro Cineform software. PM me for any questions.

It is the standard GoPro suction cup mount. I just twisted the camera around to point back at the window instead of away from it.

The flight itself is/was only around an hour and a half, and the driving afterward was around 2 hours (I cut a considerable amount of driving out for the video... it was just a little too boring). The battery lasted a bit over 4 hours, if I recall correctly.

@Endo337 Thanks. Unfortunately, I didn't really have control over the sun/wing position or how dirty the window was (all of that dust was between each pane)... It might have done better with spot metering, but this was the first time I've done it on a plane, so I figured I'd just try it and see what happened.

I mentioned it to the flight attendant, and she said she didn't think it would be a problem. I'm definitely not the first to do it, so I think that GoPro cameras are OK.

Awesome video! How did you film on the plane? I thought they tell you to turn all equipment off...? I'm travelling to Europe from New Zealand and I like your idea! Might just steal it haha.

Do you use some kind of mounting accessoire ? Because your image doesn't shake. If you use some, what kind of mounting accessoire ?
