Jackfruit kadubu/ kottige is a traditional breakfast recipe. There are 2-3 methods of preparing this dish. Today I prepare it by chopping it with a tool called "Oda marige". The dish is obviously sweet as the jackfruit is sweet, and we can add jaggery if we want more sweeter kadubu. So a spicy ginger chutney is a good combination for this dish. Also pickle can also be used as side dish. If it is prepared by using banana leaves, it's taste will be very good. But alternative way is using idli maker, if banana leaf is not available.
