puffy poori with bhaji | ಬಟಾಟೆ ಬದಲಿನ ಗಡ್ಡೆ ನೋಡಿ..! Poori baaji recipe | Soft poori recipe
Poori is one of the famous breakfast recipe liked by many. But many of us fail in preparing puffed and soft pooris. Today's video is all about a perfect poori recipe. Pooris can be prepared either by using wheat flour or by using maida, or both can be added in equal ratio. One or 2 tsp of rice flour or semolina can be added to pooris stay puffed for longer time. Pooris should be fried in a very hot oil to come out puffed. And about side dishes, baaji, koorma, saagu, channa curry etc. Are perfect matches. Here I show a baaji preparation by using a special tuber, We call it as Toona genasu in kannada. Instead of it, you can make potatoe baaji also. Or in one of the earlier videos, I showed saagu preparing method. That too a perfect match for it.
Ingredients:
For poori
Wheat flour 1/2kg
Rice flour 1&1/2sp
Salt to taste
Sugar 2sp
Water
Oil to deep fry
For bhaji
Thoone genasu
Water
Salt to taste
Coconut oil 3sp
Mustard seeds 1sp
Gram dal 1-2sp
Turmeric power pinch
Chopped onions
Green chilis
Coriander leaves
Ginger
Hing 1/2sp
Red dry chills
Curry leaves
