I think the ideal window would look something like this: - Marquee midfielder: de Jong/Neves/Kimmich - Physical midfielder: Onana/Fofana cheaper option - Touchline, transitional threat winger: Leao (the dream)/Rashford/Neto/Adeyemi - Defensive cover: Diomande/Calafiori/Hato If we get 3 of these 4 I’d be delighted. Of course sales will also be important.

@@eddietee6305 that's the point exactly, martinelli had a poor season last season but we still scored our highest goal tally ever in a Premier league season, and that's because the likes of trossard, havertz, rice etc stepped up, you don't want to bank on martinelli but you want us to depend on one striker to get us goals, isn't that disingenuous?

Saka top scorer with 16 though. Goals are too spread out. Means we play well as a team and system yet when its those tough games like bayern or teams that park the bus and we dont get many opportunities we dont have that killer who just grabs the game by the neck and fires in a shot top bins. Like sanchez used to etc… sanchez is the most recent example even auba was a top top finisher but he would need more set up, give sanchez the ball and just watch. We have nobody who can pull us out the trenches. We need a cold blooded goalscorer.

I know we need a striker and a midfielder but I would still be tempted to bring Cancelo in. He's available for £30m - Barca is his first choice but it looks like they cant afford him. He would add great depth on either side of our defence. In terms of the striker issue - I don't know what we are doing tbh. We didn't trigger Sesko for some reason and I don't think we have enough to get Osihmen or Isak. Gyokeres seems to be the only option...but for 60-70m I didn't know why we wouldn't go for Thuram at Inter. In midfield we arent gonna get Zubimendi - he doesn't want to join us. And if that's the case then we shouldn't try to sign him. Guimaraes is worth looking at but is he worth £80m? We certainly wont pay his £100m release but even £80m seems a lot for me.

I don't get everyone getting on as if we can't get an upgrade on Saka. He is actually always overrated, If we can get Pedro Neto, he would play in RW. And an upgrade on LW in Raphael Leo. A no 9 in Victor Gyokeres, an AM in Eze, CM in Fofana, and DM Ederson (Atalanta) and Califori and the team is complete. Give Crystal Palace ESR and Nketiah for Eze, give Wolves Ramsdale and Nelson for Neto; Sell Tierney (i8m) and Lokonga (13m) to get Ederson, then Kiwior (25m), and Partino (15m) for Califiori . Partey (20) for Fofana and sell Marquinho 7m , Zinchenko 23m, Veira 25m, and Mika Bieret 15m, and get Gyokeres at 70m, and Arsenal have shipped out 13 (15, if you add Cedric and Elneny) 'deadwood' (because they are not in 1st 11) from the wage bill and signed 5 top players for 'free'. However, Arteta may need to add another LB in case of many injuries - only 6 defenders - Saliba, Gabriel, White and Califiori, with only Tomysau and Timbre as backup. they are versatile enough but are injury-prone. So Kadioglu can come in

The way arsenal are treating goal keepers is not right at all. Ramsdale is a very good goal keeper that takes us to the champions league and Ben Leno was also treated the same way. Honestly goal keeper shouldn't be our target. I prefer we give Ramsdale playing time and look in as to how the mid field and the attacking line to be addressed.
