Dr Andrew Flett - BHF-funded researcher and consultant cardiologist at University Hospital Southampton discuses leading a clinical trial, the BRITISH study, which hopes to discover if and when heart failure patients should be fitted with an implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD).
Stewart Adamson - Dad of two and Deputy Chief Fire Officer for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service, talks about being diagnosed with heart failure followed by having and aortic valve replacement and fitted with a CRT-D, as well as representing patients on the BRITISH study.
Yianna Theodorou - BHF Senior Research Engagement Officer helps to navigate through Stewart’s story.
