Cooking is mood, truly said sir!! As I am an Indian Gorkha; during childhood one of the favourite dishes was and still is Nepali Cut Mutton, it's a goat meat with skin which is perfectly shaved. And most importantly there is dish called Rakti Bhudi which basically is Rakti the Blood collected after cutting the goat and Bhudi is the Stomach and Intestine of the Goat which is cleaned and boiled multiple times. The mixture of Rakti and Bhudi is dry fried with different masalas and the taste is immaculate!!!

Brar ji...meri shaadi ek Sindhi se hui....main Bihari, kabhi Sindhi se pala pada nahi tha par Bhai unke Ghar ka khana.....matlab humare liye bejod nikla, Sindhi ladka bhale hi "phussss" type ka nikla ho😅. Unke Ghar ke khane main ek hai aloo-bhindi....lahsun, Hari mirch, tamatar or apke priye dhaniya patte ki sukhe basic namak Mich masalon ke saath hamam-daste main chatni bana li jati hai. Uske bhindi main cheera laga ke bhara jata hai or thode se bache masale ko tel main aloo ke saath bhoon ke bhindi ko baad main add kar ke "lahsun wali" Aloo-bhindi banai jati hai. Lajawab banti hai. Mere Bihari rishtedaaron ne iski recipe mujhse maang ke apne Ghar ke recipe main add kar liya hai😂

Ma used to make a steamed Bhindi dish for us which used to be too good ! After washing bhindi well, She used to add salt , turmeric and mix well. She ground mustard paste with green chillies and added this fresh mustard paste to bhindi....some diced tomatoes ...coriander leaves ...and drizzled mustard oil generously . Steamed this in a pressure cooker and lo ! A very simple robust bhindi masala and healthy too !!
