Murphy hittin it on the head bruh! I'm so over the young nga vs. old nga debate!! We act like there is only one way to enjoy hip hop music and hip hop culture!! I'm just thankful that hip hop is still here clickin and tickin. I be excited to hear something new that's jammin just like how I be excited to revisit the classics!!

Lee gives an excellent outlook on lifelong childhood friends who grow apart. I like how he says that people blow up a situation that really is minimal. I lived in Woodson Terrace when these guys were blowing up. Heard them back in 1999 and I knew they were special. This man is speaking about the recording industry, but his words apply to most work in life. I bet if all the St Lunatics sat down one Friday night with no press and no onlookers, this shit would be squashed over a few drinks and some storytelling and maybe a little bit of crying and apologizing. I hope that Lee has the ability to find some peace with the loss of his boys. We have that in common. I lost my firstborn as well. It changes you forever.

We need a category called “Adult Contemporary Rap Music” so older rappers can make music for adults hip hop is youth music but once you hit a certain age you shouldn’t be alienated or stop
@Ayoowally2 жыл бұрын
And Murphy Lee is a class act definitely a real one
@kingjonesthe1st2 жыл бұрын
Hip hop is hip hop … if you’re talented & have stayed connected with your fans it doesn’t matter what “category” the music is in, for example … nas , jayz , kanye … all older than murph but their fanbases are huge so if they drop their fans are going to check it , no one is going to say “I’m too old to listen to this nas” ….. they just either like it or they don’t
