3 years later, I love watching this again. This is easily still the best Face-Off ever, and hearing Pascal talk so animatedly about how "old man" Hopkins was supposed to age overnight is just hilarious. What's even more hilarious is looking at where both fighters are at now. Bottom line: don't mess with an old man. Especially if he's an alien!

Let's look at where both of the fighters are now, Kovalev just dominated Hopkins and Pascal is just recovering from a series of unfortunate injuries. Pascal is probably getting fight against Kovalev in 2015 and maybe one against Adonis Stevenson.

Funny, funny, funny! I remember i saw a clip of this during the airing of their live rematch. I remember how upset i was how much talking pascal was doing but that old saying,time heals all wounds. And it didn't take long at all to appreciate how funny this interview was. To list the number of memorable funny moments in this interview would b impossible!!! Their bad blood for each other was an extremely hilarious affair. One of the many highly intertaining highlights of this all time classic interview was when pascal was mocking hopkins style of fighting and immediately hopkins knew how to counter his statement by questioning the fact of how he went 12 rounds with a guy like pascal imitated. Immediately afterwards that infuriated pascal so much to the point that he told hopkins he was going to beat his ass! Perfect interview, great commentator like Max kellerman to conduct it and 2 good fighters that kept viewers intertained throughout the whole piece!!!

The thing is Pascal is probably the guy to give hopkins his toughest fight in a looong time and I'm pretty sure he hit Hopkins more than Hopkins has been hit in many a years. In their rematch Pascal was there for all 12 rounds and lost a close fight. If he was only a 4 round fighter Hopkins would have stopped him. Roy Jones seems to be training Pascal to conserve energy so that he isn't tired by the 6th round but the 12th, that's a big improvement. More time learning under Roy will do wonders for him hopefully.
