Interestingly, the original reason we called him "orange" was his hair-- now more blonde. I am curious to see if manufacturing returns to America. I'm all for it-- plastic kits may well be better priced. Business stuff that we know nothing about is in play!

Sadly, Americans will have to find out the hard way how little is still produced domestically and how much more expensive that would be.

I'm right there with you. Guess what's made overseas? Styrene. If domestic companies were to buy up the domestic styrene supply, it would lead to a reliance on foreign-made styrene and thus jacking up the price of styrene altogether due to demand. Those elevated prices may put a small domestic manufacturer like Atlantis out of business. He's also kidding himself if he thinks Atlantis won't see competitors getting $40 for a model kit that they're only getting $30 for and not increase their prices to match those profits. There is no "both sides" to a factual thing like economics and math.
