I've loved Sanskrit all my life. My day started with the the short invocation of Prithvi Devi and came to the Arthava Veda and here. I'm a Buddhist, we have Bhu Devi as the Maha Nathani Great Protector. She stud up to Mara when he attacked the Buddha and said that He had the right to say that He was the Antarah Buddha. He touched the Earth Bhumi sparsha. In the Sutra"The Past Vows Of Earth Store Bodhisattva, Khsitigarba, whose name means Earth Womb, Buddha praises Holy Mother Earth. 10th chapter. The path, Marga is the Path of the Mother. " All beings have been our mothers " Kotis of Kotis of births we've been blessed care for by mothers.
