It makes me SO HAPPY seeing your reactions to the ''new'' Billy. I am a Kate/Myers main but I absolutely ADORE going against Billies and hopefully people will use his chainsaw more now. Just wish the devs would start excluding some stuff they throw on the maps and make atrocious to use a chainsaw because of those things. I could see combining the add on as you continue through the pallet be a decent combo. He become an anti loop adding a 4th play style.

I played Billy during the Bone Chill Event cause I would just meme when I got each part done and I always loved how he can cross the map in a second. By the end of my first match with him I was finally figuring out how to turn him so I wasnt hitting everything remotely close to me but he was still tough. If they push this to live I might be a new Billy main cause like you said it makes him beginner friendly.

I played billy for the second time this past month. took me a couple games but I was able to get the hang of him much easier than when I tried a year ago with him. must more fun and beginner friendly indeed.

Wouldn't say his skill ceiling is "Wayyy bigger" now, the buff makes him so much easier to play (especially for new players as you mentioned) which if anything, only makes his skill ceiling lower. My reason is that he is so much more forgiving for missing hits and hitting objects. Cooldown is significantly quicker and just by making his movement speed quicker when he recovers from a missed chainsaw hit is ridiculously good. A but like how Alien and Chucky wouldn't lose distance when missing attacks... I can see the devs slightly tuning this part of his kit down to be more in-line with the two most recent killers. (And others) In saying that, this is the change Billy needed since his nerf in 4.1.0.

As a Billy main when I play Killer and a Survivor main overall I love these changes, but I would like to see one change: When revving the chainsaw or mid sprint and the meter for Overdrive fills and plays the audio queue, I think the Overdrive should not activate until the next charge. This is partly because as it is, Billy getting the Overdrive mid rev or mid charge can punish the survivor with no warning, and can also be very sudden for the Billy to adjust to. Either way though I love these changes and I'm gonna be playing a lot more Killer now.

I don't think Survivors need the notification you can just see he faster. All it boils down to is being aware which most survivors are not. Its the problem with singularity too much counter too much control the survivors have they still need to fix emps they are busted. I think they should only recharge on their own not be quickened. However Billy's changes are great he needed a buff he wasn't Viable really before.

Billy overdrive may need a nerf in how long it needs to charge. I would like to see it longer to charge Over drive. Just a bit longer and less duration. Like 10 seconds of duration. Just to allow survivors a bit more room to counterplay it and add pressure to the killer in chase but keep the mobility aspect the same. I'm a Billy main and I'm happy with the changes but I can see this being too strong so a small nerf to tone Overdrive in chase will be completely fine for release.
