Uzbekistan may not be expensive, but surely not cheap, forget being the cheapest. I spent 12 days in Uzbekistan in March 2024. Being a resident of Kolkata I found accommodation reasonably priced, food expensive and public transport on the cheaper side. But over all it compares equally with Vietnam and Indonesia. There is no way Uzbekistan can be called the cheapest country. This is just a flashy headline to hook web traffic.

Food is definitely expensive but transportation and accommodation is still cheaper I will say.. I don’t know about Vietnam and Indonesia because I haven’t been there.. Vietnam will be my next trip hopefully that time I can understand about Vietnam
