Santoshi, a talkative woman from Vijaynagar, exaggerates the words of her husband, saying that they have seen a big white crow on the roof of their house. The news spreads like a fire in the village and reaches the king that the crow has indicated the presence of a hidden treasure below Sundari’s house. The king’s soldiers dig the house to find the treasure but don’t find anything. Eventually,the truth of Santoshi's exaggeration is revealed, and from then on, no one believes Santoshi.
