From intellectual property standpoint, is it considered your “property” still even if client has paid you for your services? Are you allowed to charge subscription fees in the future on top of what they have paid?

All of this should be discussed with the client beforehand and included in the project proposal that you both will sign. You can agree on a “maintenance fee” that would see you paid a monthly amount to tweak deliverables and keep them up to date etc. all depends on what you’ve delivered.

Sir I am from India. Can you tell me the difference between BI developer and BI engineer? Are the jobs in these two designations the same?

There’s not really such a thing as a BI engineer, only a data engineer whose skill set is more technical and data-oriented. There is some crossover in skills between these 2 roles however.

The answer to this will depend on lots of factors. Things like where your clients are situated, their size and the value your services provide. My hourly rate for project work can be up to 150€ per hour.
