umm to the person who said Bianca didn't struggle, I went to the same junior high as Bianca, and had mutual friends as her. She did struggle. We grew up in a community where the majority of the student body and population is predominantly white. Students that are of color don't exactly get the same educational support as their white peers. I remember Bianca in middle school. She was always polite, smart, and had a beautiful soul. She still does. Good things happen to good people. Keep going Bianca! You are going to do amazing things. I am so sorry about what happened in Manchester. You, Ariana, the fans, and victims are in my prayers.

"Struggle" means different things to different people. You don't get to downplay someone else's struggles just because they don't match your own. There is always someone doing worse. Hell. There are some homeless people who have it better than other homeless people. (Being homeless in San Diego is not the same as being homeless in Chicago. Off weather conditions alone.) That does not mean that one should downplay the struggles of the other. Also, yes. Only being able to afford pb&j is a struggle because that is not enough for a person to live on and be healthy. Not being able to afford and/or have access to fresh fruit/produce/ IS a struggle. That's why it is important to not only know your struggles but to also know your privileges.
