Love this vid! When Pherrel starts up the the beat for Hov, you can see the wheels in his head start turning, cooking up something to lay down over it. @ikelenafly To take that even further, Kanye and Timbo had beats that were done long before and prepared for Jay's (or anyone's) arrival. Jay made Pharrell sit down and make that one from scratch more or less while he waited, even though Pharrell had beats already made that he personally loved. It's nice to see that single minded focus output such a sick final product. Jay's flow on it was just sick icing on the cake.

And as for rap, even Jay admits his voice isn't the best, but he has arguably the greatest flow ever AND he has lyrics, wordplay, delivery, practically everything else a great MC needs.
