A possum wrasse would be a good choice. Always swimming out and about and will also eat coral pests.

Ik you already have those timers but they make some smart plugs ( I have the brand, “Kasa”) and you can control a piece of equipment remotely as well as set timers. Something to think about!

I’ve had the same tank (also the 5 gallon one) for a little over a year now and you don’t know how many times I’ve had to rescue fish/shrimp from behind the wall☠️ I saw another KZbinr tear out the wall and use a hang back filter instead.. so I did it for both and it’s honestly the best thing I could have done and was super easy!!! Also way easier to clean imo, just doesn’t look as clean as it does w the wall/: just wanted to add that you doing this nano tank inspired me to convert my 3 gal to a salt water!!! Also have a little twin spot blenny and he loves it!

Also I think the tail spot/twin spot blenny is a good addition since it’s primarily a herbivore, so you won’t be having to add food that spikes nitrate levels as much as live/frozen food.. I’m not sure how true that is but it makes sense to me lol
