I’m happy to support you any way I can Laura🙌👑👗😊I am moving this weekend and I’m going to have my first ever sewing studio! It is because of your content and how you present as a KZbin host that inspired me to (attempt) film the process of designing and decorating the space, ( it’s going to be a bit over the top hopefully ).i am using it as a launch pad for my channel. Whenever I think i can’t do it I think that you said how scared you were at first. Now look at you! You were my fav from the start basically. So yea I’ll thrown in for some bias binding if it isn’t sold out already👌👍. I just busted out my bias kit this past week for the first time and thought of you funnily enough. I am floored that you are doing it all yourself! I thought it was rather fiddleiy. I used chiffon though because it was the only thing that matched what I was making. I got a good introduction, anything else will be super easy from now on. Looking forward to seeing your company take shape. Best of luck in the days to come.

Looking forward to your bias tutorials, love your vlogs been following you for a while. Don't want to piss on your chips but why would anyone want to buy bias binding when it's so easy to make in the fabric you're actually sewing with!

Thanks Janet! Lots of reasons I guess, either because they don't want to order so much fabric extra to have enough to make "on the bias" strips, the don't want to make it themselves or want to spend their design energy on other things - for me personally I like to see a contrast in there as a finishing touch!

Hi both! Apologies I think my excitement got away with me! Bias tape or bias binding is a way to finish necklines or hems on woven garments , instead of facings. It's really useful on curved edges as it has a little stretch to it :)

Yes, absolutely - when you select your pledge amount, there is an option for which international shipping - you then add the extra donation to cover the shipping costs during the checkout process :)

About the bias tape, is it going to be preshrunk and colorfast? Wondering because you said you are using natural fibers.

Hey Leanne! The bias tape gets steamed during the manufacturing which pre-shrinks it and I've had no issues with shirking or colour fast-ness in my samples - but it's something I will check if I make any changes in the manufacturing process or printing!

I'm ordering the fabric and then making it into bias - I don't have immediate plans to release it as a main fabric :)
