@@Ghorda9 Everything is good if you build around it. That's why this game is so fun. But claws require a super specific set up that's generally hard to find, and scale really poorly into the endgame. There are just better options

I unironically like Claws. The Defect has a thin enough starting deck that two claws can help with elites. Plus, Hologram is also very good with it and is a common card. Sometimes you're on floor three, haven't taken any attack cards, need something to beat Gremlin Nob. What are you going to do, not take an attack card even if it's mediocre?

claw isn't bad in any way, there's lots of cards that work well in a claw deck, you can even go plasma orbs with reprogram, skim, steam barrier and all for one

Cope, claw is deck filler that is worse than a flash of steel 50% of the time, and doesnt mesh well with other strats that let defect win But i still like claw cause number goes up, and costing zero and being useful is neuron activation

@@PropheticShadeZ the only thing that doesn't work with claw is lightning and power spam, it's fantastic with plasma orbs/reprogram or frost orbs with cool headed/turbo spam

​@Ghorda9 however in those decks I would rather not have claw and instead have the cards that work really well with those archetypes (claw is a defect archetype and while you can throw it into others it honestly doesn't mix well because it takes up space that you would want your other cards that help your strategy be drawn in its place)

First time I got to the heart today with Watcher. Beat the elites on, turn 2 taking no hits. Lost to the heart when i got it to 25 Hp with 110 untill cap. 1 energy off. 1 attack off of the "10th attack double damage" relic. 1 attack late on the shrunken relic for enough strenght to not need it. The stars aligned.
