genuine question can anyone explain that second hexaghost turn where frost rushdowned and found a lot of damage + a route out of wrath, how did he know that was safe? What was the out if he didn’t draw any more draw OR a stance shift of his rushdown proc? I’m trying to learn and can’t seem to figure this one out.

Just a risky play, 2/4 of his cards are safe but if he draws the strike and defend he has to use potion and double defend to survive. I assume he was just not paying too much attention considering he didn't even check draw pile or anything.

@@isaiahcxxkmy best advice is just focus on what cards work well. I’m happy to help you! What cards do you take most? I’ll tell you the ones that are good and bad. (Early and late game) The card tier list videos really helped me!! (Also the relic tier list is pretty helpful, not that you can change the relics you get but just seeing the insight on how to use some of them is really helpful) The game is difficult but you get a lot better as time goes on. Don’t give up hope and don’t be sad when a run loses. I just had the dream defect run on ascension 10 but a couple misplays at the end of act 2 cost me the win. All good I’ll learn from it and be better next time. I’m only on Ascension 10 or 11 with every character but I’m also working on improving!! I’m happy to help you in other ways if you have specific questions besides just “how to get better?” Let me know your questions and I’ll give you answers. Also experiment around. Bad runs don’t mean you suck they mean you’re learning!!! If you’ve only beat Silent with shivs for example. Try some poison cards so you can find which ones are good. Try taking acrobatics and reflexes and tacticians (all great cards btw, but hard to play with) and try to get better with a deck that draws a lot! On Defect try a frost orb deck (glacier coolheaded and cold snap) instead of just relying on zap and dual cast cause that becomes pretty bad by act 2. Good luck!!!!

Love the videos! However, as a new player, your card selection process sometimes goes extremely fast, making it a bit tough to read all the cards in time before you make your choice. So would it be possible to add the card details to the side, like you do with the relics?

the issue is that 3 cards pop up so the screen could be clogged up for a while after each card reward

I'm not sure sundial is enough energy to go block positive on the heart without reducing the cost on something. If it is he's gaining like 4 block every 3 reshuffles through his deck, and that's if he's not frail...
