The epitome of that dark vampy 70s look! Biba was HUGE! I used to pinch my sister's make up, she had pots of the darkest plum and a duck egg! And we sure had those thin thin brows...mine have never grown back!😆💋

Love it! Do you have any pics of the looks you created on yourself? Yes, sometimes brows don't grow back! Eeeep!

I love love love Biba! And the light brow looks so fresh to me! She looks gorgeous! I wish someone would do a Biba homage collection for us Biba fans to play with!

Thank you so much! I also wish Biba would relaunch a cosmetic line- I would love that! I believe Biba has attempted to relaunch the fashion line a few times but without Barbara Hulanicki so it didn't succeed.

Thank you thank you thank you again! I did partial of my makeup decluttering yesterday and a lot of cleaning today. After over 14 hours of work at home, had a hot shower and lay on my couch with an ice capp to sooth myself infront of the TV when I got your notification. Needless to say that it made my day yet again. This makeup is sooooo me. I actually went on Etsy this morning and bought these beautiful handmade clay vintage gothic Lolita doll pendants and they go so much with this makeup. ❤️❤️❤️

Oh my word, I was HOPING you would do a Biba tutorial. I got off IG for my mental health, but maybe like a year ago on IG you told me about Biba, and I was delighted to hear about it. It’s sooo my aesthetic. Can’t wait to watch this video!

This is an amazing tutorial and I am surprised this hasn't had way more views! I was a 90s teen and I loved this look without yet knowing what it was. The lip colors we had in those days were very similar, and most girls of my generation also thinned their brows. I used to watch my grandma skillfully draw on her eyebrows in the morning when I went to visit her as a girl and I was mesmerized by that process! I was utterly in love with dark blue lipstick, and most days I'd have a blotted layer of black lipstick as my base. I feel like this look definitely evolved into or at least influenced some of the lighter 80s deco revival looks that existed in the early 80s, which were a lot more mauve, less brown, but the vamp/doll/deco aspects were still there.

Thank you so much and I'm so glad you enjoyed the tutorial! I also wish it had more views! I'm a 90s teen too and I remember those skinny brows (some girls are doing that again- yikes!) and blue lipstick- very Biba!

Not only are you a fantastic make-up artist, but your tutorialls are a perfect combination of the technique with the history behind it. I LOVE watching these even though I have usually only worn cosmetics for special occasions. Thank you so much for putting these up for all of us to enjoy!

Grew up in the 1970’s Was in my 20 ‘s This defines make up in that time. A lot of dark blues were used as well. Could pass for the 1920 and 1930’s too❤

I got an eyeshadow palette today (treated myself for my birthday!) with some fantastic bruised fruit colors so I can do some Biba eyes!! It’s the Dominique Cosmetics Celestial Storm palette - ignore the bright pink and purple and focus on those rich golds and deep browns and plums and you are on your way!! I can’t wait until it’s cool enough to wear my cloche hats with my Biba eyes!!
