Alberta have some streams unique to them. For the care giver stream the minimum you need in the IELSTS General exam is a band 4 but try and aim for more. The more points you have the better.

Hello, there a few roles. If you are coming via the skilled worker stream, your particular background is not a deal breaker. The important criteria for some streams is that you have some sort of skilled work experience.

I received a text message from Hamilton Street, Regina in Saskatchewan early this month, December, via my email, asking me whether I have settlement funds for at least three months, that is, 90 days. I applied for PR for a Community healthcare job in July 2023 through SINP, and my score is 67 points. I have a band 6 in my ielts. I have more than ten years working experience in health care job. Is there any chance for me to receive an nomination letter or ITA from Saskatchewan? Please Reply

Yes Biba.i am going to create EE profile once my Wes report received.my CLB is 7 and with my spouse language test support I’m getting 67 points.would you see potential in this candidature and what stream would you recommend?

@ there’s definitely potential. And with 67 you can create an EE profile. Some Provinces like BC, Ontario, Saskatchewan etc have streams for IT professionals. To increase your points you may want to consider learning FRENCH. That will really boost your chances.

Merry Christmas Habiba. I am an international masters student in Alberta with my wife holding a spousal open work permit but our kids are back in hour home country. I will complete school in April 2025 but information I'm gathering is that the main applicant to a Post Graduation Work Permit needs a job offer between TEER 0 to 3 to be able to include dependents (extending my wife SOWP and bringing my kids). Can you please confirm with your reliable sources for me even though I do not see such information on the Canada official website. Thanks in advance for your help.
