The Bibbidi Bobbidi boutique at Disneyland is a personalized experience for little girls and boys, where they get a chance to become a prince or a princess for the day. Our family saved up for Katie’s nieces’ 5th birthday to give her the ultimate princess experience at her favorite place.. Disneyland!

It is truly odd how much a place that says it’s for “dreamers of all ages” doesn’t let adults dress up or participate in all the magic.

Jennifer Jones I hope you know that the main reason they don’t do this for adults is because of their costume policy for adults. You can’t walk in the park with a princess costume or else they kick you out 🙄 WDW has a boutique that does hair and makeup inspired by princesses but you can’t do a costume

Rose Hernandez Yes, sadly I’m fully aware of the costume policy (which I don’t fully agree with), but I’m not just referring to that. The Jedi Training Academy was only for children under 14, the Batuu scavenger hunt is only for kids 14 and younger, and even though it doesn’t SAY it is the Redwood Creek trail is only for kids - as a petite woman I met the height and weight requirement, yet I was told I couldn’t ride the zip line (that’s only a few feet off the ground) bc “older ppl don’t have good balance”. Cest la vie! I love Disney so much anyhow, so they win this round haha Plus it’s cool how much fun they let us old folks have in Galaxy’s Edge so I’m thankful for that :)

Jennifer Jones yeah I understand where you’re coming from! I wish they had more stuff for grown ups too. I think the implementation of savi’s workshop and the droid depot bring a more adult theme to the parks if that makes sense? It’s definitely not the experience that Disney makes for children but it’s still very marginal nonetheless. I just hope they keep making more adult-oriented things in the future.

It’s SO easy to look at something like Bibbity Bobbity Boutique and not understand why it costs so much. But you watch this video and have to hold back tears. It’s truly a once in a lifetime moment and you can see how happy she is! I feel like Disney as a whole gets this critique, but it’s memories like these that can’t be recreated anywhere else, that are truly magical and worth every penny. Thank you for sharing ♥️

I can’t wait to show my 15 year old daughter this video!! She had her first and last makeover in 2017 and every time we go she buys a new dress in the Boutique (luckily she’s short so they think she’s 12 still)!!! Spencer and Henry were amazing for holding her tiara and filming her experience. I’m so glad you and your mom got to watch her amazing experience. Oh my heart. This makes me so happy!!
