back in mid 2000, there was a small eatery along catmon hway famous for their very delicious native chicken / manok bisaya tinola (unique back then coz of their orange-colored soup). are they still there ?

that is typical of the Philippines , first one bibingka stall. then 2 then 10 then 50 stalls all in a row and none of them make any money

I think the vendors somehow will make money despite the competition because people know that that is the place to go visit to buy the snacks. The sheer number of vendors will attract people, similar to a fish market or fruit markets.
