Hindi ko alam kung bakit ako naiiyak habang pinapanood ko itong video na to. Siguro nga dahil sa komplekado ng buhay natin habang tayo ay natanda, minsan naaalala natin kung gaano ka simple ng buhay noon nong tayo ay bata pa and watching videos like this makes me want to go back to those times. It's like you're saying that you cried because you saw trays of bread just to let the people know about it and by using such abbreviations like lol, lmao, fyi, etc. if you really believed that life is simplier and happier, you should simplify your sentences and not going around the bushes and using abbreviations. I do understand those abbreviations but it's not right including those things in your sentence. Making a sentence simple makes it easier for people to understand what you really want to say. I don't know why it makes u cry. Is it crying for joy because you do remember your childhood days? You should have said that it makes you cry for joy not just cry and lmao. Is there something wrong on the way bakers nowadays makes the bread compared to your childhood days and that's the reason why it makes you cry? If so, then you should have mentioned the comparison now and before.

Tayabas Bakery is a legend and icon in Tayabas. I remember tagging along with my Tatay Nato every morning at 6am to switch off the street lights in Tayabas and we never failed to buy our pandesal and bonete from this bakery located at Tayabas kalye mayor. Tatay Nato is already 85yeras old and still a fan of this panaderia. Trivia... Tayabas Bakery is the very first bakery that supplied our "Nutri Bun" way back my elementary days. I'm 64 years old na...Bata pa lang ako dyan kami binuhay ng tatay nmin dahil baker din siya sa Isang bakery na pagmamay- Ari ng intsik Dito sa sta Cruz Laguna...nagtinda rin ako ng pandesal sa madaling Araw sa bus station ng BLTbco for 4 years..itinustos ko sa aking pag- aaral ng hi school noong 1974-1978... Haaayy bilis ng panahon

Getting fewer and fewer bakery like this. Sad. Most buy toast from the big bakery. The bread filled with chemicals will last for 2 weeks in a plastic bag.

waking up at 5am with my mom cooking away in the kitchen, my dad getting ready for work. seeing a paperbag full of pandesal in the kitchen table, mug and chocodrink ready for me to enjoy while we wait for the breakfast... makes my heart so full with love and joy, thank you featr for this heartwarming documentary

In rural areas when I was younger. Bakeries from bigger towns often sell their goods by liaising with local sari-sari stores in outlying baranggays. Including our family's. They'd distribute the classics every few days, like munggo bread, monay, binangkal, etc. and then come back and take the unsold bread to be remade into bread pudding for kalihim (which we called "pie", locally), etc. and restock the rest. The bakery delivery guy would be on a motorcycle with two huge "skylab" boxes attached on the back filled with bread. We didn't actually have a bakery in our little baranggay until I was already in my teens. We could only get fresh pan de sal on sundays when we went to the nearest town for church. Helping out sometimes at our sari-sari store is how I learned the names of different bread types. I have fond childhood memories of various types of local breads and biscuits that we'd have for merienda. Saludo ako sa nagtataguyod ng mga traditional breads natin.

How wonderful that the 3rd generation is continuing the business, just like in the Japanese culture. This is inspiring to see family members working for the family business. The bakers are highly skilled too. Please feature more businesses like this. I miss buying bread that are placed inside a supot (brown paper bag) and sealed with a twist of the hands.😊

Another heartwarming feature from FEATR that gives viewers nostalgia. I live in Switzerland (near France) where bread is life, but I will always prefer the pandesal over all the items in the boulangeries here. Back then, my grandparents had a little pension house in Makati and it was bustling in the main house where they prepared daily breakfast for the guests there. I remember hot pandesal every morning with cooked meats, eggs, garlic fried rice and sliced ripe mangoes wafting in the air. In my other grandparents' house in Quezon City, I remember watching my aunts and uncles dunking their pandesals in their coffee, which I thought was so cool. Sweet snippets of the past will always live in my memory.

Im crying while watching this because my parents are baker. We had a bakery in patnanungan quezon before they passed away, our bread is one of delicious bread in the island, I remember we sell it also in the neighbourhood island nearby. It's my best childhood memories

This really hits my childhood core memories.We had 2 bakery neighbors and both families managing them are close to my family. The smell of freshly baked bread is very nostalgic. As a child I could freely wander around each bakery anytime. They'd always offer me free bread and cookies too. One baker even went above and beyond by making me a special bread every morning with fun shapes and sizes like Fish, Dog, Cats and many more. Some of the bakers are working part time before and are proud degree holders now as Teachers and Police Officers. Sadly, one of them closed and the house was abandoned, only one was left and is still being managed by the same family.❤

My mom used to manage a bakery in the province and watching this video brings back so many memories. Aside from selling bake goods in the bakery, we also deliver “balot” baked goods in local sari sari stores. I used to join my mother in delivering baked goods since I enjoy sight seeing different sari sari store in different baranggays. Hayss 😢😢

Bakeries and bread is dear to my heart. I grew up eating different kinds of bread because of my mom. She is a home baker and she loves baking every sort of bread. When she mastered pandesal, never na kami bumili sa labas! But pandesal from local bakeries still hits different. ❤ It’s has always been her dream to establish a bakery. aweee this video made me feel very nostalgic. remembering my younger years when my parents wakes up at 5 am, then we were asked to buy some fresh pandesal, if not the from "suroy/syagit kuyas" we go to our old local panaderia, where we can smell the fresh baked breads even a street away.

Isang bagay na pinagsisisihan ko, hindi ako nakatapos ng highschool at wala akong alam sa paggawa ng tinapay. Pero minsan nabigyan ako ng pagkakataon makapasok sa bakery noong 17 years old pa lang ako. Helper lang ako, tagaluto ng palaman tulad ng pandecoco at kalihim, tagalinis ako ng mga tray o lagayan ng masa/tinapay. Hanggang dyan lang ang alam ko. Wala akong alam sa pagtitimpla ng masa, yung mga recipe na ginagamit pero mabait ang naging panadero, sana noon pa man naisip ko ng pag-aralan ang proseso sana noon pa man pinagtuunan ko ng pansin ang pagtitimpla at paggawa. Kasi may kasabihan na kahit wala kang pinag-aralan, kapag willing ka matuto ay matutunan mo rin. Pero kahit magsasaka ako ngayon, masaya ako dahil naging karanasan ko rin iyan sa buhay ko. Tunay, masarap ang bonete lalo na isawsaw mo sa kape, dahil iyan din ang ginagawa sa bakery na napasukan ko dati sa batangas lobo.

80's hanggang year 2004 kabilang bahay namin bakery.. Mura lang ang tinapay pag kami bumibili.. Yung 5 peso mo, 20 pcs na pandesal bigay sa amin❤ kaso nag close noong nagkasakit at namatay ang may-ari. Halos lahat ng Filipino style na tinapay niluluto nila at tinitinda.. Favorite ko nuon ensaymada at mamon, stickbread, coco pandesal.

we had a bakery before, we had to close it down kasi di na nag generate ng income. watching this made me think of my Papa. i remeber my papa doing exactly what these bakers are doing. i miss my papa so much and praying na i can open the bakery again in God's will. thank you for a good content to watch 😊

My Lola use to own a bakery in Culion, Palawan in the 40’s. She provided Pandesal to the Lepor colony. Having machinery makes it easier. Was in Coron & Kabankalan in Feb. would have pandesal almost every other day from the bakery fresh baked. Now I miss it.

This is what I love about still living in a small town in the Philippines. I can still walk to the local bakery and get my fill of pandesal, little cheese breads, and pan de regla in all sorts of colors. It's one of the things that make me want to stay longer in my town, I'll definitely miss it when I move abroad.

Watching the video was somewhat therapeutic and relaxing. Also, I love pandesal in the morning whether with liver spread, butter, peanut butter, etc...

I miss the old days coming from school and passing by a pogon-fired bakery. The smell of freshly baked bread wafting from that oven is so nostalgic. Nowadays bakeries are run by gas or electric ovens and the pogons are slowly struggling its last breath.

Hindi lang pandesal ang namiss ko after watching this video. I remember the days when my Lola or Lolo would ask me to buy pandesal early in the morning, nagdadabog pa ko minsan kasi nga nakakatamad pumila sa bakery... I miss eating pandesal with my grandparents 😩

i miss home😢,the smell of fresh pandesal in the morning, lining up, "samtang init pa" paired with milo, then 3ish in the afternoon, eat together with coke🥺 how i appreciate now our local bakeries back in my hometown, than store brought bread. the easy,convinient smell and taste of home

Walang tatalo sa sarap ng pandesal natin tuwing imaga . Mainit at malutong . Kaya ako nagdadala dito sa US kapag ako ay nagbabakasyon kasi ibang iba pa din kahit na maraming gumagawa dito.

Lucky to have seen this panaderia life from my father's side. My Lolo ran a similar business and tirelessly did the same things - from waking up at 3am and sleeping at around 11pm to prepare all what had to be baked. He had people doing other things but would still be on top of it all and even would knead ("masa") doughs himself. We had that pugon still and we as kids, were part of the business during summer. 🫰🏽 If you're from San Juan, Manila - you would have heard of Remar's Bakery. 🙌🏽
