I strongly believe we are the last generation, and everything Christ mentioned in matthew 24 is happening as we speak.

@26:34 Do raptured saints receive _resurrection_ bodies? I think I would distinguish between the saints who are _dead_ in Christ (who receive a _resurrection_ body) with those who are alive at the time of the rapture (who receive a _transformed_ body). The person who asked the question was right to ask for clarification because resurrection necessitates a previous death whereas rapture necessitates being alive at the time of the transformation. In both cases, the body is glorified.

51 Behold, I tell you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. 53 For this perishable must put on the imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 But when this perishable will have put on the imperishable, and this mortal will have put on immortality, then will come about the saying that is written, “Death is swallowed up in victory. 55 O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?” 56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law; 57 but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Cor 15:51-57) So yes, we do receive glorified, resurrected bodies at the Rapture, whether alive, or the dead that are raised.

@@mikeyonce2323 That is the appropriate Scripture to cite, but I think you've missed what Paul is saying. "The *dead* will be raised incorruptible...this corruptible must put on the incorruptible." This refers to those who are *dead* at His coming and will be resurrected. Someone who is *alive* at His coming cannot be resurrected from the dead. Rather, those who are alive at His coming will be *changed,* which is what verses 51 and 52 say. "...we will not all sleep [die], but we will all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye [those alive at His coming will be *changed* ], at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible [the dead at His coming will be *raised* (resurrrected)], and we [those *alive* at this His coming] will be *changed.* "

For sure it's true that telling unbelievers the true Gospel of forgiveness and salvation because we're all sinners; and that Jesus suffered horrifically because of our sins to save us from eternal hell if we turn to Him, is all that is needed [along with Scripture] and should be said. Discussions of the timing of the rapture is secondary and have no place when trying to win souls. A troubling thing that i've actually heard from many speakers, is that they put together the need for forgiveness and salvation with their personal opinion that there is a ''pre-tribulation rapture'' (which there is NOT). A paraphrased example of what i've heard many times from speakers is that they first describe what the tribulation may be like, then they say that if one wants to avoid going through the tribulation, to get saved. Well, this is not the Gospel at all. Jesus did not go through all of the horrors He went through so we could avoid discomforts in this fallen world. It's our sin that Jesus paid for on the Cross; saving us from eternal hell. Such a priceless gift. Many Christian martyrs who have gone before us could tell of the earthly sufferings they went through (but are now in the comfort of God for all of eternity). Many severely persecuted Christians around the world could testify to the fact that being a Christian doesn't mean we won't experience the pains in this fallen world. The precious gift that Jesus provided for us is far more than we deserve or can imagine. We can and must trust our loving triune God the Father, the Son Jesus Christ our Savior and Lord, and the Holy Spirit with our eternal soul, we therefore can and must trust God with whatever temporary troubles we go through while in this fallen world. The seventieth week of Daniel is not the wrath of God, it is the evil-doings of satan via the antichrist. (+ See the cry of the martyrs in the fifth seal; God's wrath has not poured down yet). There is NO ''pre-tribulation rapture''. In the meantime, no matter what we go through on this earth, God will not abandon us. He will help us.
