KEYNOTES (ANSWERS TO FAQS):
-If you do not have full blank pages to work with (like in the Interleaved Bible) and do not want to cover the text of the Bible, you can scale this down to fit the margins of your Bible, use a separate notebook or journal, or create a tip-in! Tip-ins are a great option in my opinion, learn more about how I create them here: www.scribblinggrace.com/water...
-I do not prep my pages with gesso or anything beforehand. It's not necessary with the supplies I use regularly (listed here). In fact, acrylic paints can even be used as a page prep and will prevent pens/supplies that normally would bleed through the Bible page from bleeding.

I seriously appreciate so much the fact that you use simple products for bible journaling, I am just getting started and watching some KZbin videos is so overwhelming because they have all these devotional kits and stamps, stencils, stickers, brushes, pens, etc I just don’t have that kind of budget, I do have a watercolor palette with brushes and a micron pen, so watching your videos is so inspiring!
