Thanks for your review. I purchased a Cambridge Pitt Minion Bible in June of 1963 and it remains in excellent condition to this day, Sept 2022. It has a Moroccan Leather Cover.

I just got the personal concord reference because I wanted a higher quality smaller sized more transportable bible. The binding is a little stuff but it's a beautiful bible. I recently found local church bibles!

I have the Cambridge large print in French Morocco which oddly enough I find quite portable. Love the font/print on it, too.

Hi there , I wish that Cambridge will publish on the cameo range , most popular translations like , cameo ESV , NASB , NKJV , NLT etc. all red letter . Cameo is the perfect hand size , print and thickness and would be awesome to see other translations and bindings come out. Blessings in the precious name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ 🙏🏼❤️✝️

Cat woods I realised after filming that the Clarion is also pretty much the same size 😂 just a tiny bit wider. Oh well 🤦‍♂️

I think my favorite is the Cameo but the Concord is nice too. I think my eyes couldn't handle the Pitt Minion but it's cute!

Yes he Pitt Minion does test your eyes. I can only read it for a short amount of time in natural light when I’m not tired. But the PM has a really big following of fans!

I have been wanting a smaller more portable Bible but have struggled with the font size. That cameo looks like it would solve that problem...it looks lovely

I know this is an older video but I recently found your channel and really enjoy these comparisons. Do you know if Cambridge has any plans in the future to offer the Personal Concord or Cameo in the ESV translation. Either would be great!!!

Hi Mike thanks for joining us! I don’t think so for a couple of reasons: the ESV is owned by Crossway so any new editions would have to come from them or under license; also the Cameo and Concord are old KJV typefaces, scanned from the old letter press plates, so they’re very much ‘locked in’ as they are! I’d love to see some smaller high quality ESV’s though. God bless

@@BurtonBibles I figured as much, but a guy can dream! I just think there is a hole in their double column lineup between the Pitt and the Wide Margin. Even a larger Pitt or a smaller Topaz would work. Regardless, we are blessed to have so many options!

Mike Douglas Cambridge is coming out with a new bible in the fall that is 20% larger than the Pitt.

When I got an up close shot side by side it looks like the Cameo has the best readability factor (a bit clearer) compared to the pitt minion and the concord. I would go for the Cameo.

Burton Bibles I.wanted to ask ypu about the paper on the Cameo since I was going to get an Rl Allan brevier clarendon but the paper is too thin for my liking. Thanx and God bless.

Absoultly beautiful Cambridge Bibles. The Personal Concord Reference is my favorite of the three you showed. I do like the Cameo but not as much as the Personal Concord. Thanks for showing us this comparison.

BJ Hewitt no problem. I really like the PC as well. Cracking value for money. I assume it is half the price of the Cameo due to the difference in paper maybe? But yes a great typeface. 👍👌

Hi there, I'm looking for a small, leather-bound KJV with a zipper for trips etc. Someone here on KZbin showed the Cambridge Amethyst Bible with zipper, it looks perfect. Do you stock it? I prefer without red letter and without thumb indentations but could compromise on those points.

@@BurtonBibles That's a pity! I ordered now from Ebay a used Cambridge Cameo with a zip for £44. The zip is not part of the original production, it looks like the owner had it put in (ykk zip). Hoping I'll enjoy this Bible!

@@BurtonBibles actually all 3 are beautiful but brexit hasn’t made it easy for us here In Ireland to be honest. In some cases the delivery is more than the Bible. 😀

I need your help. PLEASE. I love Calf Split. KJV Cameo Reference Edition with Apocrypha KJ453:XRA Black Calfsplit Leather - I know they don't make it no more but someone must have a clean one they are willing to sell or trade. Thanks..

Hi Rich thanks for commenting! I too share your love of the Calf Split, particularly on the Concord Ref. The Cameo with the Apocrypha only comes in black calfskin and I sell direct from Cambridge so I only sell what’s currently available from them. Sorry! Secondary market would be the best place for that I imagine? God bless!

IF you look at our Facebook Cambridge site I have my Concord Triple Play 1) Goatskin Concord WM / 2) Concord Reference Calf Split / 3) French Morocco Concord Personal. Now I do have 2 Personals a Goatskin and a Calf Split Reference and the French Morocco Emerald Standard Text when I want NO distractions in reading the Scriptures. I sent Paypal to Abebooks for $200 for the Cameo Calf Split with Apocrypha and they beat me. Never sent me the bible. So I have even spoken to Alan and co. in NY's Cambridge for the Calf Split. They said they checked for one hanging around. And someone in England was checking also. Last word was no one could find one. It amazes me I can't get one even from Cambridge themselves. I do have every Pitt Minnion also and the KJV Prayer version along with pocket versions including the zipper. I guess you can say a Cambridge kind of guy. Too bad though no one could get me a CALF SPLIT CAMEO WITH APOCRYPHA. So I have officially decided to give up. I've been stressing out a bit too much than I should. I just really thought Cambridge would have had one around for me. Now, I've seen them from $600 - $9000. What a rip. But God bless you Mark and your video work. They're excellent. Keep it up.
