Even with a Jewish upbringing I did not even know how the Jews came to be in Egypt, so this study has been very enlightening. Old Testament was always hard 4me bc so many events happened and was always a jumble to me so thank you for helping me to have a greater appreciation! 😊❤

The moment you mentioned the 12 tribes I snapped my fingers so hard because it was like YOU’RE RIGHT! When my grandma passed I mourned for such a long time and I thought I was crazy but the fact that Jacob was such a special person, Egypt mourned for 70 days which is about 3.6 months. It just helped me feel a tad bit better in/during my mourning process. Even now with certain events going on, this is my confirmation to myself that hey it’s okay to mourn.

Definitely, I didn’t know how the Israelites got to Egypt either. I did hear the story and watch movies about the Israelites in Egypt and how God used Moses to lead them out of Egypt. But now that I’m studying the Bible in depth, I know too! Thank you so much. Your videos really help me understand the Bible better. God bless you!

Reading the story of Joseph was an ah-ha moment for me as well. I didn’t know how the Israelites got to Egypt....nor really understood where they came from....Genesis made me understand all of that.

Good day. Enjoy your studies and watch 3x each week. The Bible speaks about our bodies being the temple of God. As Christians, we have to be mindful of what we put in it. Caffeine is a drug, although legal. That is why it affects the body the way it does and why some people are addicted to it and can’t start their day without it. No judgment, just food for thought.
