Some interesting things I learned about this chapter is the meaning of the cities. Rameses was named after RA. Composed of the name of the supreme god and combined with the Egyptian root, "be born". And then Pithom means, "house of Tum", which is the god of treasure. So, I believe this Pharaoh was wanting to create himself to be higher than God. He wanted to create his own version of heaven. This is sad because in this chapter you can see how someone so filled with hate & anger can hurt a community. How a seed of anger & jealousy can produce hate and therefore evil. I think what makes this chapter even sadder is that this sadly continues to happen in today's time. Sorry, just some interesting facts I found.

A reason I think all of this is happening is that God maybe never meant Joseph to go to Egypt, however he gives us free will and when his brothers sold him into slavery he continued to bless Joseph and they’re now taking the long road to the promise land in a sense.

God made a promise that He will increase Abrahams descended right but here in this chapter we see Pharoah trying to destroy the lives of the Israelites my point is whenever God promises something the devil always comes to weaken our faith in the promises of God but God is faithful beloved His promises are Yes and Amen. He always fulfil that which He promises . Sorry you have gone far and am too behind.

I truly think that the pyramids were before the Bible ...the pyramids were pre-biblical because some archaeologists that are familiar with that area say that the erosion that is present on the pyramids aren’t wind related but are of water erosion meaning that the pyramids were possibly there before and during the great flood of genesis.

Genesis 1:26 does say : then god said, let us make mankind in our image.... which is before Adam and Eve are even mentioned. so I’m thinking that mankind was already a thing before Adam and eve ..you know there were great civilizations before the first two humans the Bible describes ...and those civilizations are possibly where the pyramids came from

Okaii and last thing, Adam and Eve may not even be actual (singular) people but are of gods people (plural) from those previous pre biblical civilizations... Adam means blood formed from ground ultimately and eve meaning to breathe or to live. Adam and Eve could’ve just been figurative characters of a godly group that ate from the fruit of knowledge of good and evil.. once a group of godly people who only ate from the tree of life .. to then become merely humans who must learn their way back to righteousness... I’m babbling... but girl just know I love reading with you, read genesis with you and excited to read exodus .. just wanted to share my thoughts.
