I so enjoyed this, this is how I need to study, focusing on a smaller amount and really breaking it down. It's so easy to slip into 'reading' your quota for the day and getting nothing out of it! :) I have a super old Matthew Henry Commentary and I went to it for clarity about the birds etc as it's always been a bit fuzzy for me. He essentially said, every day of their lives the little birds are fed, and not by mans hand, but they trust in God alone to provide for them. They live so carefree for tomorrow that they merrily sing in the branches. If we were as faithfully unconcerned about tomorrow as them, we would sing as cheerfully as they do. :) I just loved this, hope it blesses you to! xxoo
