I used to do INSTRUCTION and PROMISE. Now I write it as COMMITMENT and PROMISE. I also change the tense from "do 123" to "I am doing 123" or "I shall do 123" as a way of helping me speak it into my life.

I have seen how God is a provider in my life through this...initially it’s difficult but man if you are faithful with your tithe God always makes a way to provide. And I guess most people expect the overflow monetarily as well but good health, life, protection of your loved ones can all be results of obeying that principle. Thank you so much for this ❤️

Woooooow... When Nuri was born, and I met you and Brandon for the first time, I never knew what a journey I was about to embark on... Today, in this post, I got to find out that even though I didn't know what I was doing, I was honoring God... by loving people, ( some people find it odd that I hug a lot) but this has been confirmation that I am fulfilling one of God's commands... I am the most loyal person I know, I now realise, I have been fulfilling God's commands, effortlessly without thinking about it... It has been hard to get to read the bible, though I am a born again christian, Today it has been revealed through you, that it is actually easier than I imagined... Thank You Mpoomy... I will be reading Proverbs a chapter a day from today... then proceed to explore this lovely book.

Great staff @Mpoomy Ledwaba. One of the method that really helps and has helped me during my time in the Bible Institute and still helps today is the inductive Bible Study Method which is the observation of the passage then interpretation and lastly application. By observing the passage I would ask myself what the passage say and therefore I'll look at the passages before and after to build the context and then I will ask the question of 'what does the passage mean" which interpretation that's when i start to break it apart. Then I will start to ask myself how can i apply it in my life since the text had the original recipient so how can I apply it in my life (Application) Another method that really works is the 5 W's that is WHO, WHAT, WHERE, WHEN & WHY. Let me make an example with 1 Thessalonians 1 Who= Paul, Silas & Timothy( Paul says we in verse 2 and when we go back to verse one that is when we will find who is we) verse 1-2 What= Thank God, Pray & Remember (2-3) Who( Who is Paul, Timothy and Silas thankful for)= Thessalonian believers. verse 1( to the church of Thessalonians) Why (why are they praying for them and thankful for them) Verse 2= because they remember before God (Verse 3) What( What is it that they remember before God)= Thessalonians work produced by faith, their labor prompted by love, and their endurance which is inspired by their hope in our Lord Jesus Christ. This is another poweful tool when it comes to bible study and just as you have said Mpoomy is it important to journal our devotion. thanks Mpoomy Ledwaba.

Someone is Listening “[The righteous] are always generous and lend freely; their children will be blessed.” Psalm 37:26 Be careful what you say in the presence of your babies. That’s the advice of a researcher at Johns Hopkins University, who tells us that children only eight months of age are capable of hearing and remembering words, good and bad. Great video. I was that person who would stick to a specific bible by reference from church but I came across pastors and other people who encourage to compare with other translations to see how the Word is written. I found that helps when you check what other translations say about a verse and you may find certain words from other translations give a much clearer meaning than your version. People should look for a bible that they feel most comfortable with as we are different but I agree that as a new believer you should get a simple version.
