I think it's referencing this event from the Bible when the Prophet Elisha (Elijah's friend) was mocked. Can someone help me understand how to say her name correctly. Saint Xenia is actually my patron saint, and the funny thing is I can say my own name right no matter how hard I try. I used to say Ex-zen-ya I don’t know how to pronounce her name correctly and it saddens me so much because she is my patron saint. Is it like this ( sec-nee-uh) ?

It is also a unlawful to work on the sabbath, but sometimes for the sake of righteousness there are higher purposes than the law. St. Xenia is not the only female saint who took on masculine roles at times for the cause of Christ.
