You can also use the Prismacolor white pencil for blending. It usually lightens the color.

Nice to see the comparison of the Crayolas and the Prismas in the Bible pages. I sometimes get "precious" with my Primsacolors because they aren't cheap, and it's nice to know that the results aren't too different, especially in things like you showed in this video (lettering and some background shading) versus drawing a scene. It makes me realize I can use them both and be happy. Lovely gift set for your young friend-wonderful that you are encouraging the next generation of bible journalers! Love these videos, please keep the, coming.🙏🏻

Thank you for the great info. I'm so happy to see that you are encouraging a young girl to get into her Bible and start journaling - being a Titus 2 woman. 😊

I was so happy that in December 2017 A.C.Moore had the 36-pencil set of Prismacolor pencils on sale for $10 instead of the usual $59.99. I have lots of the Crayolas but the Prismacolors are now the ones use the most.

I have the Prisma colors but have always wondered about the difference with other pencils in thin Bible paper. I know it does make a difference in other projects -- and so now I know it holds true here. Thanks for the review it was very helpful! Blessings. :)

Love the gift idea. The colorable cases are not found using your link. Do you happen to have a code on the tag we could use to find them.

Hi Sandy, I love your videos but the term "bible journalist" really grates with me. I am a journalist - I trained in journalism. What I do in my Bible isn't journalism, it's journalling, so I'm a Bible journaller. Sorry for the mini rant, but it really does bug me to hear "Bible journalist". Journalism is impersonal, but when I journal in my Bible it's very very personal. xxx

Sorry! Hadn't ever thought about that. I haven't heard anyone call it "Bible Journalism" - probably for the reasons you state! Journaler feels like an awkward word to me, though, not positive I could incorporate that into my lexicon, lol. Old dog, new tricks, ya know? heehee :)
