I think there will be animals in heaven. What about Isaiah 11:6-9? "The wolf will live with the lamb, the leopard will lie down with the goat, the calf and the lion and the yearling together; and a little child will lead them. The cow will feed with the bear, their young will lie down together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox. The infant will play near the hole of the cobra, and the young child put his hand into the viper's nest. They will neither harm nor destroy on all my holy mountain, for the earth will be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea." That sounds like animals don't just "die" and there's nothing left. I believe that if God cared enough to create and feed and care for them, then they will join Him in heaven.

Can I ask you this, then. Why does it say it Revelation 19:11 that Jesus is coming back on a white horse. A red horse is also mentioned. I know God is not going to create them only for a short time and then make them disappear. What's going on there?

I don't understand why God would create some of us to have such a strong bond and connection emotionally to animals (especially our pets) if they just die and we never get to see them again. I do believe there will be animals in heaven 100%, and we won't eat them and they won't eat us, but I don't know if our pets will be there like our family. It's so sad to think about. Then again, there's a ton that I don't understand "why" or "how" in the Bible and in life. I guess we just have to wait & see.

If God cares enough to take care of the animals (Matthew 6:26 Look at the birds of the air: They do not sow or reap or gather into barns - and yet your Heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?), then why wouldn't He carry them on to heaven when they die? Did He not give them life, too, or was that just wasted energy on His part? Heaven will be awfully silent without animals and just us people making noise. No birds singing, no fish in the water. I don't believe the horses are just imagery in Revelation. I believe Jesus will come back on a horse. They are majestic animals after all.
