I've been so stressed out lately, about two years ago, my mom had a cardiac arrest, she's alright now, thank God, but I'm terrified every day that it could happen again, and now my sister has to wear a pacemaker because of conductive issues with her heart. I'm extremely close to my family, I really don't have anyone else, I'm not married and I don't have a girlfriend, so without them, I'd be completely alone, I'm so terrified of losing them. On top of that, I'm so disgusted about the way the world is today, we place no value in human life anymore, especially with the terrible things we do to innocent children, we don't value love or relationships anymore, preferring to live in a "hookup" culture rather than heed what God's word says regarding relationships, we just proudly proclaim "love is love", ehich actually makes love meaningless. I could go into more detail, but youtube would delete this comment, and you probably know where I'm going with this. I've just been so depressed and I haven't felt as close to God lately, I pray every night that I could just feel right again, and have that closeness with Him once more. It's refreshing to see a girl like you who knows Christ and keeps His word in your heart, thank you for these comforting reminders that we can find throughout scripture, I really need more stuff like this.

Great comment. Best wishes to you and your family 🙏. Social media and the breakdown of the nuclear family are two of the reasons why the Western world badly needs the re-set button to be pressed. Too many minority interest groups are influencing today's leaders. Ludicrous claims saying that if we don't stop going on planes or drilling for oil, then everything will end by 2050 are scaring young people. It isn't true.

@@alangiles776 Absolutely, we've abandoned God, the One who's image we bear, from whom we were given our identity, so without Him, we place meaning in depreaved or meaningless things to find a sense of identity or purpose. I live among a whole generation that thinks a person who transitions to reflect their gender of choice pretty much walks on water, we treat these people like gods, like they've achieved ultimate enlightenment and joy through ruining their biochemistry, the truth is, they're hateful, miserable and confused. We mock women for wanting to get married and start a family and tell them that the true worth of a woman is to sleep around and murder the children they would concieve so that they can declare their independence, it's fine, though, our science says it's not alive, it's just a fetus, and even if it is alive, our's is more important, children are an inconvenience. I could go on, but I'd be writing for hours, the point is, we have an identity crisis, we don't know who we are, we don't know what love is, we don't know what a relationship or sezuality is anymore, we don't know what it means to be alive anymore, because we"ve rejected the God who gave us our true identity.

I agree completely with you and I’m so sorry to hear about your family but I’m going to be praying for you and your family too. every single person walking with God has moments feeling distant from Him but know that He is close, and our feelings most of the time can be used by the enemy to deceive us into thinking otherwise. It happens to me quite a bit actually. This world is so sad and ugly, it isn’t Gods world but I’m so looking forward to when He calls us to our true homes. We’ve just got to hang in there !!!!! I suppose we will have these moments in our walk where we don't always feel His presence or we feel like we're not as close to Him when the cares of the world ensnare us, and I know that scripture tells us He'll never leave us or forsake us, but I'm just so tired of the way I've been feeling lately. Entering into His kingdom is what we truly long for, Christ is truly the only one we can hold onto, and our only salvation from our own wretched selves, and the terrors of this world. Know that I greatly appreciate your prayers, it's refreshing to meet a sister in Christ like you who sees how corrupt this world is and how it decays day after day as we continue to reject God's statutes. You seem so wonderful, thank you so much for caring, you'll be in my prayers as well.
