@ Approxguant We're responsible for proper church decorum. We assist the minister serving communion. We also look after the members that are lacking in attendance and encourage them to come back to services. We also set budgets for anything that has to do with services.

I am actually a Muslim, but this was really comforting. Most of what you said is in fact even Muslims believe in it. I think there are many things in common. In fact, in the Qur’an (the book for Muslims), God said that the closest people to Muslims are Christians, and actually here I found a beautiful space of love. A question of the Christians, genuinely. Why do you think your God would want to test you and put you through things to test your faith, if he is omniscient? Shouldn't he already know if your faith is genuine or not? Shouldn't he already know everything?

It builds out character into the best version of ourselves. God knows the outcome. I personally don’t see it as a test, but a chance to grow. However that is just my opinion, many theologians have some great takes aswell

@@dottiesasmr thanks for the reply! Though, if someone dies without having never believed/followed God (without regretting it), why should that person be punished? God already knew they wouldn't believe in him and they'd die like that, so they aren't actually guilty of anything. (?)
