Another good way to remember polis for English speakers is by linking it to “metropolis” which is relatively common word inherited into English ☦️ thank you for your videos

Where do you get the good ONE from your 1st example?

I got it from the Greek text. I think it's called the Attributive in the 2nd position or something like this. The emphasis goes on the adjective (that is on the goodness of the word) Literally, "The word, the good one" - we just simplify it in English into "the good word" - however, this simplification looses the emphasis shown in Greek. I hope it helps (it's more advanced understanding of the Greek syntax, which is not necessary for beginner students, but at some point you will come to it in your exegesis).

Why can’t we use easily understood descriptive words with understandable meanings for all the categories of language? Today we will learn about destritious agrestoms in their three kalimetous forms when used in the poripetite as opposed to the more common geriletite refunages. Is there really a need to make things more difficult? Yet, I did actually learn good stuff here anyway! (Good being the attributive adjective… even though I still don’t know what an adjective is). That’s not your fault.

What should be the correct translation of John 1:1 ? as in accordance with the manuscript.

"In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God." The meaning of the word "God" in 1:1c is a different story. It means that the Word was as God as it can only be. It possesses all the qualities and attributes of God. In brief, the Word is God.

You're incorrect because you're not following what the Apostle John is describing about the Son of God who manifested Himself in the flesh. The Apostle John was against the heretical teachings of Gnosticism because their "Word" originates from human reason. John write his Gospel to show the true Logos, who is from the Father in Heaven. John 1:1-2 NASB In the beginning was 👉the Word, and 👉the Word was with God, and the Word was God. [2] 👉He👈 was in the beginning with God. Noun: the Word (Christ Jesus) Pronoun: He (Christ Jesus) Your form of Eisegesis doesn't coincide with the Exegesis of the Apostle John.
